Product structure And Composition
The heel blood collector consists of a shell, a spring, a blade and
an elastomer. The shell and elastic material are made of
acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) material. The spring is made
of carbon spring steel wire. The blade is made of stainless steel.
Product Performance
- The appearance of heel blood sampler should be clean, without
obvious grindstone, stain and defect. Leaves can't have grindstones
and curved rings.
- The heel blood sampler is well assembled without serious
dislocation of the shell.
- The surface hardness of the blade server must be greater than or
equal to 350 HV10. The Ra value of blade surface roughness is less
than or equal to 0.4μM ..

be Grade B (including corrosion marks).

Usage Method
1. Put the baby down, wipe the blood collection part with a sterile
cotton swab, and dry naturally. Do not touch sterilized parts.
2. Remove the outer packaging of blood collector. Don't put the
blood collector in a sterile place. Remove the safety buckle of the

3. Move the baby's feet to the position above the heart, and select
a safe blood collection position according to the "baby blood
collection positioning mode diagram", and the blood collection port
is vertically aligned with the blood collection position.
4. When the flat end of the blood collection outlet gently touches
the skin, press the start button to collect blood, and the blood
collector quickly leaves the blood collection point;
5. Gently wipe the first drop of blood with dry sterile gauze.
6.1 Gently press the appropriate pressure, and collect a proper
amount of blood samples with a blood collection tube for blood
collection. After blood collection, gently press the incision with
dry sterile gauze to prevent hematoma formation.
6.2 Gently press the blood, directly sample the blood drops on the
blood card, and then continuously collect at least 3 blood points.
After taking blood, gently press the incision with dry sterile
gauze to prevent bleeding and hematoma.
Contraindication
1. Do not use it on infants (including fever) unless necessary.
2. Do not collect blood samples repeatedly at the same location.
3. Do not use the puncture site for infants with edema, infection
or inflammation.
4. It is not used at the puncture site of infants with skin
diseases or skin injuries.
5. Do not choose the skin within 2mm near the sampling point as the
blood sampling position.
Matters Needing Attention
1. Please do not use the safety belt buckle of blood sampler,
because it is lost or damaged.
2. The blood sampler is disposable, so please replace it with a new
one every time you take blood.
3. The safe area for infant blood collection is between the line
parallel to the foot side drawn from the middle of the fourth and
fifth toes and the line parallel to the foot side drawn from the
big toe.
4. When disinfecting the blood collection site, the disinfection
diameter should be no less than 2 cm;
5. Inadequate vascular development can lead to insufficient blood
flow.
6. If the heel needs to be preheated, 42 ~ 44 C will promote blood
circulation, but above 44 C will become the cause of burns;
7. The blood sampler should be close to the blood collection site
and inserted into the needle vertically, but excessive force should
not be applied to avoid deep harmful wound depth.
8. When using the blood sampler, please be careful to avoid
accidental injury to yourself and others.
9. Pay attention to the place of blood collection to prevent
bleeding or inflammation again after blood collection.
10. The blood sampler is sterilized by radiation, and its validity
period is 3 years. It is strictly prohibited to use within the
validity period.

be discarded at will to prevent pollution and injury.
Keep In Storage
It should be stored in a cool, dry, ventilated and clean
environment with relative humidity below 80% and temperature below
45℃, without corrosive gas.
